Samaritan Cycling is back! For the ninth consecutive year, Samaritan Cycling will bike in the annual Ride the Rockies tour to help those experiencing homelessness.
Samaritan House ("Sam House") is different ... it's not just an overnight shelter and a meal. Although Sam House does provide the basic necessities, the reason I support them (and appreciate your support too!) is that they provide programs designed to help people get their lives back on track. Whether it's legal aid, mental health, basics like getting an ID and mailing address so people can apply for work, etc.
Most of the residents are women, children and veterans. The facilities are clean and bright, staff is friendly. Saying "yes" to the program means staying sober and out of trouble, and working through a 3-6 months to get back on track.
The dedicated staff and residents of Sam House is really doing something good in a city that has recently been plagued by "urban campers".
Thank you for supporting Sam House!
