I am reaching out, after a one year hiatus s\to see if you are willing, to once again, support my effort of fundraising for Denver’s homeless. As you may have read in the news, with the bussing of illegal immigrants to Northern States, Denver has had to deal with a virtual tsunami of refugees, in winter, being dropped off on Denver streets. Our city budget is being strained to the point of significant cuts to city services to be able to offer shelter to these desperate people. 

The Samaritan House does an outstanding job of feeding and housing those in need, with ever growing demands and diminishing resources!

In October of 2022 I had a total knee replacement, and due to speaking obligations, I chose to bypass the annual Ride the Rockies, and instead did RAGRAI, a ride across Iowa comprising of 500 miles and over 45,000 riders! I chose not to fundraise as I was not sure how my new knee would hold up….it did GREAT! However, now that I am 70 years old, it is harder to find captains willing to do the whole ride with me…so I am CHEATING! Tomorrow I am receiving by electric assist (you HAVE to pedal for the motor to assist) bike! Yes, it is cheating, but trust me, it is still a LOT of work! The route this year will be 434 miles long with 18,000 vertical feet of climbing!
