Dear Friends,

For the 12th consecutive year, Samaritan Cycling will once again participate in Ride the Rockies, the premier cycling event in Colorado. Over the past 11 years, our cycling team has raised nearly $1.4 million to provide food, clothing and shelter to those experiencing homelessness in Colorado.

We have also expanded the team to over 100 riders and will be participating in all the major cycling events in Colorado during the 2022 cycling season.

Our 2022 goal is to increase our ability to raise awareness for the crisis of homelessness through more opportunities to serve meals to the homeless at the Samaritan House as COVID restrictions decline, and raise more money for those experiencing homelessness.

Some of you may not know my story. Nearing the finish line of Ride the Rockies in 2015, I crashed face first at 30 miles per hour. I was very lucky, surviving with 9 fractures in my face, none of which required surgery. I believe God spared me from almost certain death or permanent brain damage, and that I am still here on earth because my mission is not yet completed.

I sincerely appreciate all of you who have donated to our cause over the past eleven years, but I come to you again and ask for your generous support. Remember, you are not doing this for me, but for those in need.
