Patrick and I met through a mutual friend on the team, so we're calling this our Ride of Thankfulness! 

• To God above all
• For each other and the love we share
• To all who support us with donations and prayers
• For the physical ability to do the ride (especially Leslie who's had serious health issues in the past).

We're excited to be back and riding with a team that raises both awareness of the homelessness crisis and much needed funds for the Samaritan House shelters in Northern Colorado. 

The money we raise provides food, clothing, shelter, counseling, education and life-skills for our neighbors who are working to rebuild their lives.

Having volunteered at the Samaritan House in Denver, and speaking with people involved with it, we know the funds DO help people get back on their feet - all types of people, young and old, single and married with kids. 

Also, even though Catholic Charities oversees the centers - you do NOT need to be Catholic to benefit from these services. You don't even need to be Catholic to ride on the team so if you're inclined to join - contact me!
