Welcome to Bill Clifford's Personal Fundraising Page
Dear Friends,
I'm about to embark on the 2022 version of Ride the Rockies, the annual bicycle adventure around Colorado from June 12th - June 17th. We'll be traversing the central mountains of Colorado, starting at Copper Mountain, with stops in Glenwood Springs, Basalt, Salida, Breckenridge and Golden. It's a 476 mile route with 30,000 feet of climbing. Once again I'll be peddling with my teammates from Samaritan Cycling! We are a community of individuals that love to get outdoors, cycle and experience the beauty of Colorado. Beyond cycling, we share a common mission to support the Samaritan House Homeless Shelter.
Statistically, homelessness is becoming more and more of a problem. I can say from first hand experience driving to work, or out riding the trails of Denver, that there are more and bigger homeless camps wherever I go. Samaritan House is more than a shelter, offering education and programs that get it's members back into society through work placement and housing assistance. In addition, the Samaritan House operates the largest women's shelter in Denver.
My goal is to raise $1500 in support of the Samaritan House Homeless Shelter. Over the past 11 years, our cycling team has raised over $1.4 million to support those experiencing homelessness in Colorado. Your kind donation will help break the cycle of homelessness by funding shelters, providing food, life skill classes, and aiding support groups.
Thank you in advance for your financial support. Donate what you can. Any amount helps!
