Samaritan Cycling 2021
Samaritan Cycling 2021
For the eleventh consecutive year, Samaritan Cycling is back! The team will participate in a mix of sanctioned cycling events such as Ride the Rockies, Pedal the Plains, and Copper Triangle and self-supported rides. Self-supported rides were implemented in the 2020 cycling season due to COVID-19.
Cycling partners Tom Schwein and Tom Dea created Samaritan Cycling, formally known as Team Samaritan House, to raise both awareness and money to support and help the families and individuals experiencing homelessness in our community.
Each year the team has grown in riders and passion. This season, 100 plus riders are expected to participate and will commit to fundraise a minimum of $1,500 each.
Over the past 10 years, Samaritan Cycling has raised nearly $1.2 million to provide clothing, shelter and a fresh start for many experiencing homelessness. The ultimate goal of all Charities' shelters is to help residents become self-reliant by providing needed individualized assistance.
Why Help? All funds raised will benefit Catholic Charities four homeless shelters: Samaritan House, Samaritan House Women’s Shelter, Guadalupe Community Center in Greeley, and The Mission in Fort Collins.
Your gift today will help change the lives of those experiencing homelessness in Colorado. More than 202,730 nights of shelter in emergency and transitional housing were provided by Catholic Charities last fiscal year thanks to the support of our donors.

Thank you for supporting Samaritan Cycling 2021 and for helping change lives at Samaritan House!
