Samaritan Cycling - Ride The Rockies 2021
My 10th consecutive Ride The Rockies (RTR) was cut off at the kneecaps by the COVID 19 PANDEMIC. I’m pleased to announce that Team Samaritan House not only survived, but THRIVED through the pandemic and we are now only 2 weeks away from RTR 2021. I am committed to doing my FOURTH RTR with my friend and vey strong “BLIND STOKER”, Mr. Andre Van Hall (wwww.andrevanhall.com)
OK – back to begging ---
While Covid has reeked havoc on some, it has totally devastated others, and yet others have had minimal impact, while still others have benefited financially. Like life, it is very complicated… The one thing that is certain is that there are now more homeless that we all see, IF we take the time to open our eyes. I’ve done my best to not judge others, but I have judged and I’m not proud of that. I am proud of my supporters and my teammates!
I’m thankful to hang on to Tom Schwein’s Coat Tails and we were both proud to accept the Courtney Seaman Award, on behalf of all riders who have ever ridden on Team Samaritan House, and all who have donated time, talent and treasure to help others!.
Check this video out that my nephew Adam Dawkins and other friends and family members put together:

SO -- Andre and I will be back on the Tandem in 2 weeks, riding to help others. TSH started small and I was thankful for the $12,000 we raised the first year and I’m grateful and amazed for the >1,200,000 we (and you) have raised to date.
Thank you to all who have given and all that have prayed for our legs and lungs and SAFETY through the years.
Once again, I’m inviting you to give if you feel this is something that is right and if you are able. Samaritan House now has expanded to:
Ø Samatritan Cycling
Ø Samaritan Runners
Ø Samaritan Walkers
Feel free to join one of our teams if you would like to meet good people and to help others
I am thankful for a lot of things, but I’ll start and finish by thanking my wife, kids, and family members for supporting me on this wild adventure,,,, this year, and for the past 10 years. I could not do it without your love and support.
