Dear family and friends, 

2020 was going to be my last year to Ride the Rockies with Team Samaritan House, as I was going to ride into the sunset at the ripe age of 70!  However, COVID-19 arrived and Ride the Rockies has been cancelled for this year.

I have been so profoundly blessed and grateful to have been a member of our incredible team since its inception in 2011.  At that time, our team of six began riding for the homeless.  In that first year we raised over $12,000 and we were over the moon!

Now, through 2019, our team has grown significantly and we have raised over $1 million dollars cumulatively!

Samaritan House now has five shelters that provide a continuum of assistance from overnight lodging to long-term residence with an array of services including food and clothing, counseling, social services, employment assistance, and life skills classes to attain self-sufficiency. Needless to say, given the arrival of COVID-19, the needs of the homeless have never been greater.  

Please consider donating to Samaritan House.  Any donation you make is a true gift of hope and help for the very vulnerable.  Your generosity makes a difference for those in most need of the services Samaritan House provides.  All donations to Samaritan House are 100% tax deductible.  Any donation over $250 qualifies for an additional state credit called Enterprise Zone located on this donation page.  

I will be donating my registration fee for Ride the Rockies this year, and my goal is to ride 1,000 miles over the three months of June, July and August in lieu of Ride the Rockies. 

Since I am retiring from Team Samaritan House, this is the last year I will be asking for your help to provide assistance to the homeless.

It has been a glorious adventure, and I thank you for your past support and generosity and any donation you make this year.
