Dear Family and Friends,

Team Samaritan House is back! For the ninth consecutive year, Team Samaritan House (TSH) will bike in the annual Ride the Rockies tour to help those experiencing homelessness. This will be my third Ride the Rockies with the TSH crew and I am really looking forward to it. Again this year, as in 2017, daughter Mallory will be riding with me. I don't see as much of her as I used to since she and Ben moved to North Carolina so it is going to be great to spend the week with her pedaling through Colorado's beautiful scenery and hanging out with our fellow TSH members. The TSH folks are truly some of the nicest, most caring and compassionate people I have ever been around. Not to mention, a hell of a lot of fun. It will be great to see old friends and to make new ones. My training has started somewhat slowly this year so now that winter has finally loosened it's death grip on the Midwest I am looking forward to getting out on the road and putting in the many many miles of training I desperately need.

As part of being on the TSH cycling team, each rider pledges to raise at least $1,500. Your contribution will support the Samaritan House shelters in metro Denver that provide one-night shelter and short-term stay for men, women and families, and also serves expectant mothers, single women, and single women with children. Samaritan House's ultimate goal is to help residents become self-reliant by providing needed individualized assistance.

All donations to Samaritan House are 100% tax deductible. Any amount you can donate is very much appreciated. I can assure you that it will be spent wisely and is going to a great cause. Thank you for your consideration and support.
