In 2011, The Denver Post Community Foundation was established as a separate 501(c)(3) organization and serves to broaden the reach of the Posts’ philanthropic giving. At that time, Ride The Rockies became a Signature Event of The Denver Post Community Foundation and helps support nonprofit agencies that work to improve the lives of Coloradans in the towns hosting Ride The Rockies.

For the ninth consecutive year, Team Samaritan House will be among the largest fund raisers on the Ride The Rockies tour.  We will bike over 450 miles and climb 30,000 feet to help those experiencing homelessness. Each rider is seeking to raise at least $1,500. 

When I first rode in the annual Ride The Rockies event three years ago one of the memories I took away was the blue and white clad Team Samaritan House making a big impact. They were friendly, helpful and seemed to be having a really good time. Riding with a purpose will do that.

Now that I've moved back to Denver it was natural that I'd seek them out to share their passion for both doing good deeds and riding bicycles. Please consider donating whatever you can to support this wonderful organization.
