Team Samaritan House is back! For the ninth consecutive year, Team Samaritan House will bike in various cycling events including Ride the Rockies, Pedal the Plains, Copper Triangle and many more to help those experiencing homelessness.
Tom Schwein and his cycling partner Tom Dea created Team Samaritan House to raise both awareness and money to support and help the families and individuals experiencing homelessness in our community.
Each year the team has grown in riders and passion. This season, 100 plus riders are expected to participate and will commit to fundraise a minimum of $1,500 each.
Over the past nine years, the Team Samaritan House has raised more than $685,000 to provide clothing, shelter and a fresh start for many experiencing homelessness. The ultimate goal of all Charities' shelters is to help residents become self-reliant by providing needed individualized assistance.
Why Help? All funds raised will benefit Catholic Charities four homeless shelters: Samaritan House, Samaritan House Women’s Shelter, Guadalupe Community Center in Greeley, and The Mission in Fort Collins.
Your gift today will help change the lives of those experiencing homelessness in Colorado. More than 202,730 nights of shelter in emergency and transitional housing were provided by Catholic Charities last fiscal year thanks to the support of our donors.
