I am cycling with Team Samaritan House this year to raise funds for the homeless. 

Team Samaritan House has raised over $500,000 in the last 7 years to feed, clothe and shelter children, men and women - homeless victims of domestic violence and increasingly outrageous  housing and rent costs that foster both the need for, and the inability to find, more work. 

It's tough to find and commit to steady work if you don't have a place to live.

Out of their homes they seek emergency shelters or transitional housing, and some live in vehicles or on the streets. And crime against the homeless is on the rise.  

We hope to raise $250,000 to provide for the homeless this year alone. My personal goal as a team member is to raise $1,500 by June.
