Even though this will be my 5th Ride The Rockies, it's my first time riding with and for Team Samaratian House.  (Each year I have become a stronger and better cyclist, living in Minnesota the high alltitude gains are always a constant challenge for me, however, this year my challenges will be even greater.  I was recently diagnoised with breast cancer and currently I am undergoing treatment and recovery from numerous surgeries.  I know with out a doubt that I've got this... and I so look forward to this ride!)

On last years' ride I met some of the team along the route and to say they made an impact on me, is definately an understatement... There was something so special about this group, not only their dedication & drive for a cause greater than themselves, but their compassion for each other and strangers alike, all woven together with such faith and kindness. A team that I am proud to say I'm a part of for this coming year!
