Welcome to My Personal Page - Timothy Patrick Dea

I am honored to be going for my 6th year riding for Samaritan House in the 2018 Ride the Rockies event! I am so grateful to again be riding for our amazing cause which provides for the needs of the homeless.
This year we met as a team at the new homeless shelter for women. It was humbling and inspiring. I am reminded year after year why I ride the grueling Ride the Rockies. This year we will be pedaling 418 miles from June 9-15, gaining a total of over 25,0000 vertical feet.
When we began riding for Samaritan House in 2011, there were 6 riders and we raised $12,000 for the homeless. We were very happy with the generosity of those who donated to the cause. As of last year, we have raised over $500,000 for the direct needs of people who have so little and whose needs are profound.
I am asking for your support this year as we embark on our efforts to help the homeless. Funds raised will benefit five homeless shelters, including Samaritan House in Denver. These shelters provide an array of services, from overnight stay to long-term residence with intensive case management. They provide a continuum of services from meeting the immediate needs of safe shelter, food and clothing to long-term housing, counseling, employment assistance, and life skills classes to attain self-sufficiency.
Every year I endeavor to bike for this incredible cause, I am inspired by the team and by the reason for which we ride. My motivation continues to deepen, as my body continues to age! I know that each dollar we raise matters for the lives of those for whom Samaritan House serves. Your support means the world to those in need.
All donations to Samaritan House are 100% tax deductible. Any donations over $250 qualify for an additional state credit called Enterprise Zone located on the donation page.
Thank you for your consideration and wish me
luck!
Sincerely,
Tim Dea
