Welcome to My Personal Page - Nora Sirles
I am riding for Samaritan House Women's Shelter. The House provides shelter nightly for 150 homeless women in our community. Every evening busses pick up and transport 150 women from downtown Denver to the shelter. There they are offered a safe bed and a roof over their head for the night. I was surprised to learn that the average age of these women is getting older every year; my heart aches for those women who missed their seat on the bus. Being in that age group turning 60 this year I am fourtunate to take on the biggest ride of my life Ride The Rockies (RTR). Six days on my bike , 418 miles, with 26,000 feet of climbing in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
I'm thankful for any donation you may be able to share with Samaritan House Women's Shelter. I also would appreciate prayer for my team members and I as we continue to train for RTR. The team goal is that each member raise at least $1,500.00. I am pleased to ride with Team Samaritan House for my first RTR as part of their eighth annual event riding for the homeless.
Respectfully yours,
Nora
