I am preparing to participate in the 2018 Ride the Rockies cycling event! I will be riding with Team Samaritan House, which provides for the needs of homeless women, men and families in the Denver area.

The event this year will cover 418 miles from June 9th – 15th; gaining a total of over 25,000 vertical feet, beginning and ending in Breckenridge, Colorado.

Team Samaritan House was formed in 2011 with 6 riders, raising $12,000 for the homeless. As of 2017, through the ongoing generosity of donations, over $500,000 has been raised for the direct needs of people in our community that need it the most.

I appreciate your support as Team Samaritan House continues their efforts to help the homeless. Funds raised will benefit five homeless shelters, which include Samaritan House in Denver. Services provided range from overnight stay, food and clothing, counseling, employment assistance and life skills classes to achieve self-sufficiency.

I have accepted this biking challenge to become involved with an organization, Samaritan House, which serves so many people in need. While this is truly a physical test for me, the interaction of the group serving the needs of the homeless and giving back to society is what keeps driving me forward!

All donations to Samaritan House are 100% tax deductible. Donations over $250.00 qualify for an additional state credit called Enterprise Zone located on the donation page.
