Welcome to My Personal Page - Roger Adams

Team Samaritan House is back! For the eighth consecutive year, Team Samaritan House biked in the annual Ride the Rockies tour to help those experiencing homelessness. This was my second year on TSH. Each rider is seeking to raise at least $1,500. Since I surpassed my original goal, and because I had so much fun and am riding August 4 in Copper Triangle and September 29 in Grand Junction on Tour of the Moon, my new goal is $3,000. With every dollar donated, I will be motivated to ride more mile for my training.
We had 83 on our Ride the Rockies team in June compared to about 40 in June, 2017, thanks in part to great co-captains who have been recruiting and to those of us who have personally recruited riders. I'm thrilled my buddy John Pitek has joined the team for this year, except that he was one of my biggest donors last year -- but it's all good b/c he's not just donating to my $1,500 this year, he's already raised his $1,500 and more toward our mutual goal of helping give a safe haven for the homeless who find themselves in Denver.
As you consider an amount to donate, consider your bank account and consider how much YOU will benefit by following God's directive to work hard and to assist those less fortunate than ourselves! Since I joined TSH a bit over a year ago, I've often thought of the old saying ... There but for the Grace of God Go I. Please be generous to those less fortunate as God directed us to do.
Thank you for your consideration and support. God Bless You and Yours! - Roger
